200 Altea Gacha Box Opening Results & Analysis~!

There was a request by one of our fans with regards to the opening of  Altea Gacha Boxes and then sharing it with the community

I missed the previous Sure Win Vortex Deal which was in the period of 4th to 10th June 2012 ): which was why this was delayed.

This time I’ve decided to dedicate 200 Altea Gacha Box Opening just for our supporters and fans since a 2nd “Success with Vortex!” event was conducted by Cherry Credits during the 29 June 2012 to 8 July 2012.

This article will share with you what we got as well as some analysis on what items you can expect to to receive in general.

Disclaimer: It is all dependent on mostly RNG if you’re hoping to get a certain item, but this article can help you see an overview of what to expect. Till Eterntiy Gaming will not bear any responsibility with regards to your own experience when opening Altea Gacha Boxes. This article is merely to share our own experiences with the community since it was a request.

I’ll share with you 2 separate opening of 100 Gacha Boxes, opened by Lyzbeth first, and then AikawaKazu.

For those who think it matters, Lyzbeth opened her Altea Gacha Boxes at Channel 8, and I opened mine at Channel 3.

This is the spot where I code all some of my accessories which got perfect potential as well.

Caution: this is also the spot where I used over 200 Intermediate Diamond Codes on my Apocalypse Revelation Rings and got no Critical Potential ): In other words, I don’t think the spot matters XD

Here’s the Pie-Chart for each of the 100 Altea Gacha Boxes Opened.

I’ll explain what items each “pie” contains.

For Misc Cash Shop Items:  Eye, Hair Colour Pouch, Condensed Elixirs, Normal Grade Rings, Messenger Birds (Yellow/Blue), Antidote, Premium Potions, Magnifying Class

For Cash Shop Items: Seal Stamp & Item Protection Magic Jelly

For Epic Grade Items: Epic Codes & Epic Spiral Code Pouches

For Rare Grade Items: Rare Codes & Rare Spiral Code Pouches

For Ordinary Jewels: Every variety of Ordinary Jewel available, both magic and rare grade [Eg. Ordinary Agate(Normal), Ruby (Magic) & Diamond (Rare)]

For Handmade Resurrection Apple: Non-tradeable item that can be used for resurrection in Sea Dragon Nest

For Notable Items: Basically any item that gives you a shout out in world chat that you have received the said item. (Mounts, Wings, Cheek Bandage Decal, Altea Bonzana Box, Mysterious Cat Eye Ring)

Notable Findings

As you can see from both charts one result that is definitely clear and eye-catching is the percentage at which epic items are received.

An astounding 36% and 37% respectively from each of the 100 Altea Gacha Boxes opened.

Note: Epic Items refer to Epic Codes & Epic Spiral Code Pouches and only 2 lvl40 spiral code pouches common grade (+7-10) was received. Meaning to say a large percentage of epic items received will be epic codes

Comparing to Normal/Magic Grade & Rare Grade items which has a pretty low percentage of 14% and 9% respectively when combined, the chance to get epic items is definitely pretty high.

I believe this is a good change from the old Altea Gacha Box where you will receive a much higher percentage on magic/rare grade items based on my experience before Meet-The-Player Session held in Singapore.

If you look at the list of epic items you can receive from above, a large number comes from Intermediate Revert Cubes (Epic) which I believe will be pretty useful because they are usually expensive when bought from the trading house due to the number of seal stamps needed to seal them.

But…

As you can see, the chances to get a notable item is pretty low.

Varying between as low as 4% to around 8% inclusive of the chance to get a Handmade Resurrection Apple which I believe is notable as well.

Also I didn’t get a mount out of 200 Altea Gacha Boxes so I would say it is pretty much down to luck as you can see the varying experience between the first batch of  100 Altea Gacha Boxes and the 2nd batch.

Previously I got my Crimson Thunder Horse within 8 Altea Gacha Boxes and Brown Dire Wolf within 3 Altea Gacha Boxes though >_<

We were hoping to get the Unicorn when opening them though >_<

So looking at the chances here, I would say that if you wanted to get the movement speed wings (Black/Yellow Cupid Wings & Brown Archangel Wings), it will probably be better just buying them off the trading house >_<

Sold my own yellow cupid wings at 20,000 DNP

Then again, the thrill of opening Altea Gacha Boxes is actually pretty satisfying due to the factor of chance here.

Remember that these statistics are solely based on our very own experiences and your own will definitely vary, but I’m sure this gives you a decent idea of what you will receive.
