Dragon Nest SEA – Level 50 Sneak Preview + Leveling Guide & More~!

So…

Many players in Dragon Nest SEA was very concerned about the level 50 cap due to be released soon…

Many players asked me about where to level (leveling guide) as well as how difficult the new level 50 dungeons will be…

Many on forums mentioned that it will be extremely difficult and you can die if you’re not geared…

Hence, I sent Cherry Credits Dragon Nest SEA Team an email asking if they could allow me to test & preview the Level 50 content that is due to be released on their test server…

AND THEY AGREED !

So yesterday I went down and used a Level 50 MoonLord.

I could request for specific stats, so I went for around 3500 Patk and 2800 Matk as well as Critical Cap for Level 50

(This is patk & matk values are close to what I personally have on AikawaKazu)

To prepare yourself for 18,000 Critical for 50 cap you will need 4 crit 17% potentials (meaning perfect potential rings and weapons) and SEVEN Level 40 Premium 3rd stat Critical Heraldry Plates

Test Character Stats

I’m using +10 Manticore 5 Piece Armors and +12 Manticore Sword & Gauntlet, and have only 416 FD (Forgot to request for Level 40 Premium Ultimate Plate)

Potentials for armors is agi/int/hp and weapons have perfect potentials with crit 17%. The ring you see in the picture is a generated ring that gives me critical cap.

This stats are what I believe to be the above average gears for Dragon Nest SEA players currently.

Most players should have at least +9 epic armors (I’m using +9 on AikawaKazu) and at least +10 Epic Weapons.

So you can use this as a gauge on the timings that I’ve cleared for the dungeons.

Leveling Guide

Many leveling guide recommends going for Ancient Library  a level 40 dungeon from 40-42.

However this dungeon takes 6mins37s to complete at master mode with Level 50 skills available as well as my current skills.

The reason for such a long run time is due to the dungeon mechanics.

To understand it, simply watch the full dungeon run video shown below.

Fortunately, from Level 42 onwards, you will be able to enter a dungeon which have an extremely short runtime of around 3mins29s

This dungeon is called Riverwort Ruins, and the board quest will be available for completing from Level 42 onwards.

When you hit level 46, another short dungeon is available.

This dungeon is called Dragon Follower Base, board quest available for completing from Level 46 onwards.

With that…

Here’s my leveling guide for 41-50

This is recommended for players who want to rush to 50 ASAP and have other level 40 characters that they can use to farm later on.

 Level 41-42

Solo – Nameless Tyrant Tomb (If you’re a force user you can try doing Forsaken Islet core instead but board quest exp is 20,000 lesser)

Party – Ghost Town of Isolated Forest / Nameless Tyrant Tomb (But know that when you party, the dungeon exp is divided by 4 as well, and might not be worth the small decrease in run time)

Level 42-46 or 50

Solo/Party – Riverwort Ruins

Level 46-50

Solo/Party – Dragon Follower Base

but what about the other dungeons? I’ve ran all the new dungeons at master and abyss mode and the above mentioned are the fastest dungeons you can do to complete and level up fast.

But if you want to know, here are the board quest exp of the other dungeons.

220,000 Board Quest Exp, highest among all the other new dungeons

214,000 Board Quest Exp

Ancient Library, 219,000 Board Quest Exp

218,000 Board Quest EXP

217,000 Board Quest Exp

So as you can see, all the board quest exp are within 5-6k of each other, so it finding the dungeon which you can complete the fastest is the key to leveling.

So that’s all for the leveling guide.

So do you really need to keep those level 40 equipment like your manticore/apocalypse set?

Yes you definitely need to if you want clear the new dungeons decently and fast.

I’m recommending at least 3000 patk and 2500 matk for swordmasters, if you’re playing other classes, try to gauge from that.

So what about Abyss? is it as hard as rumours have said?

Here’s a screenshot of how long I took to clear Riverwort Ruins in Abyss mode.

8min54s run time, and I almost died by the way

Basically the abyss dungeons monsters take around 4 times more damage before they die compared to master mode

So please don’t sell of your current equipment, you will definitely regret it.

What about Archbishop Nest? Is it hard?

Well without knowing the mechanics of the nest, meaning it was my very first try, I died to the first boss mechanic (ironically it still hit me after the boss died) xD

However, after that 2 GMs and I teamed up and we managed to clear it !

I died twice after the run ended, and the GMs died thrice

But the deaths were due to the mechanics of the nest itself rather than from the damage, even though we still get hit pretty hard if you get hit.

Anyway, it is not that hard, with 4 party members, I believe it will be like our first entry to Manticore Nest (Normal) when 40 cap is released.

I love the dungeon as it is short and sweet with just boss fights room after room not like Apocalypse nest where you need to waste quite abit of time with the getting of the keys etc.

2. NO Level 50 Spiral/Vortex Code Pouches
3. High Grade Diamond Codes can be exchanged using Dimensional Fragments
4. Level 50 Epic Skill Heraldry Pouch (Available at Scholar)

So better stock up those dimensional fragments ( at least 3200 if you haven’t )

Exiting portals now tell you quests that in the area you are going to
