By AikawaKazu On 12 Jul, 2012 At 01:06 PM | Categorized As | With 11 Comments

This page serves to help new players better understand the current economy of the 4 Dragon Nest SEA servers namely, Westwood, Springwood, Greenwood and Holywood with regards to CC/DNP/Gold ratio.

It will aid you in giving you an idea if you should buy/sell a particular item at a certain price.

There will be 3 main cash consumable items in concern here which are seal stamps, item protection magic jelly as well as altea gacha boxes.

The respective quantities of the abovementioned items is also shown.

This page will be updated weekly every Saturday since prices generally do not deviate too much throughout the week unless a patch or new content is released.

Note: “0″ means that there wasn’t any item available in the trading house which was sold in that particular currency when I was updating the tables. All values shown are the lowest prices available in the trading house during the point of checking. Figures are rounded up to 2 decimal place.

You forgot to include DNP voucher to Gold

most people request and ask whats the fair ratio of that too

  2. zeft says:

In my opinion, gold to DNP ratio and gold to CC ratio should be the same.. however, DNP can be earn thus making its value lower than CC. The real issues here is there are players selling DNP vouchers in game.. Lets take Holywood’s gold to DNP ratio 3.51 as an example.. Basing on this ratio a 10k DNP voucher on average sells for 2.8-2.9k gold approximately.. The amount of gold u can get by using CC to buy Alteas, Jellys, Seal Stamps etc. and sell the is potentially higher than using CC to buy DNP vouchers to sell instead. Again like i said it is just my opinion.. Hope u understand it LousieBoom..
And Kazu.. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.. I will really appreciate it if you do reply.. Thx in advance…

yes cc/dnp to gold ratio should be technically be the same.

however, do know that there are players who can earn DNP without spending CC.
Meaning to say such players are more inclined to “under-cut” or make more of a loss compared to direct CC purchases if you get what I mean.

Also DNP does not have any tax when putting on the Trading house as well which isn’t taken into consideration. Also note that the gold you earn is taxed as well when someone actually purchases your item.

In other words, DNP trading is definitely better which also meant that when one knows this, he can afford to price is items at a much lower DNP/gold rate compared to CC/gold. Which is why you see some cash shop items for example item protection magic jelly x100, that is sold for below 6800DNP (Actual CC cost is 6800)

In others word, opportunist will take advantage of this loop hole.. XD buy DNP at a low price, buy cc items den reselling for gold at an above average price.. Hence, make profit in theory.. cz the difference in the ratio will enable ppl to do that.. Lol.. Just a theory though.. @.@ tQ kazu for replying.. :)
