Final Damage build is not for the light-hearted, if you didn’t even want to try critical build since 24 CAP, skip to the bottom to read what might be more.

First Build Full INT Build + Full FD (842FD 98.2% Dmg Increase) 3494 Critical 2.9k Matk

294FD    Apocalypse/Manticore Full set crafted Intellect Except for Gloves(HP) =

119FD   Lvl40 Premium Ultimate Plate

244FD   2 different Set of Apocalypse Accessories : 1 pair of Revelation Apocalypse Rings and 1 Pair of Judgement Necklace/Earrings

126FD   Three Lvl32 Premium 3rd stat FD plate

59FD     One Lvl40 Premium 3rd stat FD plate

Total FD = 842FD (98.2% dmg increase according to the excel sheet)

2nd Build (10-11k Critical + 594FD ; 45.6% Dmg Increase) (Recommended)

Basically no different from my Critical Builds

You basically dont use Apocalypse Revelation Rings, just go for the 1pair of necklace/earrings

I know you will say that the dmg lost from not using bear/wise necklaces is not worth while.

But not using 1 apoc accessory set meant only 413 FD (Lvl40 Premium Ultimate Plate + 294FD from full set)

413FD = 20.5% dmg boost.

If you had 3k patk 10% increase in dmg will be around 300 patk

Lvl38 Bear necklace/earring – 338STR – 119Patk

So you can see that losing the bear necklace for around 25% dmg increase is well worthwhile, this is similar to using wise necklace/earrings. Also FD affects BOTH patk and magic attack, so you’re benefiting double here.

Just buy the cheapest pair of apocalypse accessories(necklace/earring set) on the Trading house, shouldn’t cost too much.

Last Build Full FD + 10k Critical (is it possible in 40 cap for SMs?) ANS: almost YES

Possible for 10k Critical + 834 FD (96.1 % inc dmg + 95% crit rate) (only possible with 4 crit 17% potentials)

Skip the calculation if it bores you, but some people just want to be sure.

Full Wind Crafted Apocalypse Set = 63+45+27+19 = 154 AGI

Lvl40 Premium Wind = 95AGI

AGI Gained from weapons = 49+7 = 56AGI

Base AGI @ 40 cap = 123

3^rd Stat AGI from Lvl40 Premium Fatal = 47

Total AGI = 475

Overall AGI with 20% heraldry and 7 4.5% AGI Potentials = 475 x 1.515 =719.625 AGI

Total Crit Gained from AGI = 2518.6875

Base Crit needed for 10k Critical = 5900 (using 3 crit 17% Potentials)

Critical needed (left) = 5900 -2518.6875 = 3381.3125

Lvl40 Premium Fatal = 1033

Total Critical Needed (left) = 3381.3125 – 1033 =  2348.3125

2348.3125 / 516 = 4.55

Lvl40 Premium 3^rd Stat Critical Needed = 5 (with 3 crit 17% potentials)

Hence with 3 crit 17% potentials it is not possible to go full FD and 10k critical as you will only have 2 slots left for 3rd stat FD plates

Base Crit needed for 10k Critical = 5350 (4 crit 17% potentials)

Critical needed (left) = 5350 – 2518.6875 – 1033 =1798.3125

1798.3125 / 516 = 3.48

Lvl40 Premium 3^rd stat Critical needed = 4 (possible)

FD calculation (850FD needed for 100% DMG inc for Lvl40)

Possible FD from Gears

294(apoc/manti set) + 119 (ultimate plate 40) +244 (2 pairs of apoc accessories)

657FD

850-657 = 193

193 / 59 = 3.27

Total FD with 3 Lvl40 Premium 3^rd stat FD = 59 x 3 + 657 = 834FD

Hence it’s possible to hit 10k Critical with 834FD (96.1% Dmg Increase)

Summary of items needed

Full apocalypse set fully crafted wind (except for gloves)

2 Pairs of Apocalypse Accessories

4 Lvl40 Premium 3^rd stat Critical Plates

3 Lvl40 Premium 3^rd stat Final Damage Plates

Example of Heraldries 3^rd stat Combination

Dest/Magician/Ultimate/Bear/Wise with 3^rd stat Critical

Fatal with 3^rd stat AGI

Health/Lifevitality/Tent with 3^rd stat Final Damage.

Note : Ultimate Plate can’t have 3^rd stat FD, and Fatal plate can’t have 3^rd stat Critical.

In conclusion, 10k Critical and 834FD is possible for Swordmaster

However, do realize that for classes like Elemental lords with Hellfire, they only need 4.7k Critical and can afford 4 plates of Final Damage 3^rd stat Heraldry plates.

This build also meant that you need all Lvl40 3^rd Stat plates which probably cost you at least 32k gold (4k per 3^rd stat lvl40 plate, a gross underestimate) at this point in time.

Analysis – So which build to go for?

Pure Builds – Transit into Full FD if you want

If you were always pure build meaning full strs/int Build, you can just go for the full FD build, since it won’t cost you too much.

Only cost is finding 3rd stat FD plates, but 32 premium will be enough, just need 5 of them.

You might think that this is actually more expensive that critical, it actually is not.

For 10k critical build you will need 4 Lvl32 Premium 3rd stat Critical heraldries, which will cost 1.5k-2.5k gold, meaning it will be around 10k Gold just to get the plates. This is excluding the critical potentials rings you will need which will cost another 16k gold (8k gold per critical ring, refering to fatal sylvie ana rings)

Full FD build doesnt require any perfect potentials for your rings, just the neccessary basic ones such as patk/stat/stat or matk/stat/stat

You are using the 10k Critical Build – Transit into Build 2, which is to maintain critical and get as much FD as you can 

All you need is full set manticore/apocalypse and 1 Lvl40 Premium Ultimate plate.

And that’s all, if you have more crit to spare like myself, I gave up 1 slot for a Lvl40 Premium 3rd stat FD plate which brings my FD to 594, most of you will have 535FD

The 45.6% Dmg Increase is very very worth it once your patk/matk is above 2.5k-3k

So Who should go for the ideal build? Full FD + 10k Critical

Well unless you’re super super rich and want to be awesome, don’t try it.

Pretty much very straight forward for the ideal build, you basically need the best of everything you can get now.

Don’t worry too much about your base dmg, as long as your sword/gauntlet are at least +10, it will be better than any of the builds available to swordmaster till date in lvl40 cap

What you enjoy is basically 100% dmg increase on top of the critical damage that you do, WITHOUT defense from monsters.

How FD works is that it is applied to your BASE DAMAGE first, then after which this base damage will be used for the calculation for your skill dmg. After which the game will decide if you crit (which is decided but how much critical you have). So no matter if the critical is resisted, you will still enjoy a 100% dmg increase, but a resisted crit damage still sucks.
