One of the awesome mercenaries we have in Eternity (Greenwood).
He did a video with me in the 2-man manticore nest video ” Ain’t Just about gears ”
He’s a Critical Build Mercenary with 10k critical and 3.8k MAX PATK

whats your total FD btw?

do you do PVP? and what’s better axe for crit or hammer for pure damage and stun?
if u see from his basic info picture he has 535 FD
Im strictly PvE player
I do prefer Axe over hammer for PvE. It has a higher crit and easier to combo when in the middle of a mob.
hmmmm.., not too shabby build.., what’s his ultimate skill by the way?..
im a mercenary destroyer path.., from holywood
he uses cyclone axe
Like kazu said i use cyclone axe not for DPSing more like a Crowd control, main DPSing skills are whirlwind and Rolling Attack =)

OMG!!!My Phys Atk just 1.9k and Crit 7k,how the heck did you get so much Crit???3rd Stats Plate?And that FINAL DMG just so ****ing awesome,i couldn’t even believe my eyes!!!
Well my crit comes from the 2 fatals with 17% crit pot and 3 crit heraldies, 2 level 32 3rd stat crit and 1 lvl 40 3rd stat crit
sir recklion can i not have the apo necklace and earrings buy have the 2 fatal rings and plates??
crit is cap at 80% now in NA or so t says in the stats………
So now going pass 8k-9k crit is useless?
if im not wrong it’s 90% (89% to be exact according to what in says in-game). it still says 90% in DN SEA, you can achieve that percentage when you hit 10k crit
so the crit cap for 40 cap is still 10k
don’t bother going higher though
oh sorry i meant 89% here in NA, and i seen people with 8.9k get that 89%

Sir, I have a question about potents. Where is it easier to get 17% crit? Accessories or Weapons?
i believe you can look up the % chance on dnarmory.com buy searching a a generic epic lvl40 ring/weapon
for rare’s crit 17% potentials can only exist in weapons as far as i’ve seen before
I think rare rings can get the 12.75% crit but still very low chance
y is it ur main weapon is bear? y? y? y? i thought wind is better for main weapon crit type im EmoSyon da poor boy merce cheers Y_y
Reason for the bear weapon is that i am focusing more on my DPS rather than my critical, wish is the reason all my gears are on the Bear stat, that also includes my costumes/cash rings etc. Quite frankly to get a high critical rate is really not that necessary to craft armors into the Wind stat as long as you focus on trying to find those 17% critical pots and at least 2 critical plates… well at least for us Mercenaries we also have the battle howl that helps us boost our critical even further

My Merc has 3670 Patk and 7k4 Crit (1 lvl 24 Tent 3rd crit),1 Fatal and 1 Destrution ring, Wind Sylvie Necklace and Wind Sylvie Earing. I Use 5/7 Manticore set and 2 rare weapons, FD is 217.
Should i change Necklace and Earing to Apoc set to get extra 122 FD
no get that 10k crit first.
122FD more is useless unless you already have at least 400FD, which means needing you to have full set manti which you don’t have
rule of thumb, if you want to bother about fd, you must see yourself having full set manti/apoc FIRST.
also 10k crit then as much fd as you can get, not the other way round
sir what is good immo armors and victors weapons or hero set for pve / pvp ?

I reached 10k crit and 3770 Patk. 4 Skill Heradries are Rolling, Ring bomb, Whirlwind, and Circle swing, is it ok ?
One more thing, I wonder if Barbarian or Destroyer is better for PvE ?

wow i must commend you for making it so fast to 10k critical =D! as of your questions the skill plates are great if they are all epic. However as a mercenary I believe we should all be headed to achieving a maximum DPS capability which includes utilizing our buffs to their maximum potential. We get an even higher attack from the Battle Howl, and at level 50 cap we have the possibility of having it PERMANENT =D! And we also have the same possibility to have iron skin/ howl charging permanent. As for your question about witch is better for PvE between Barbarian / Destroyer they both have good potential as DPS but i would have to side with Barbarian’s because we get a passive skill to increase our Dmg output even more. I hope i answered your questions =)

All 4 Skill plates are epic, i usually forget about buffing so i choose 4 most-use-skills. I will change 1 or 2 plates to Howls in lvl 50
Hi Recklion, I have 3.88 PATK, 4.8k crit and 565 FD using my full manti set and hammer as the main weapon. Nevermind my crit number, im still using junk plates. XD Anyway, why did you chose apoc set over manti set? and how what’s your HP?
To be completely honest i chose apocalypse over manticore for 2 reasons … 1 . I am trying to gear up with SDN in mind so i wish to have as much HP as possible so I can endure the brutal amount of damage that I am sure I will be taking from that raid, and 2. *this one is kinda silly but* I chose apocalypse for looks too, i would rather have more hp and 78 less strength points that in the end = 39 physical attack less and be happy with the way my character looks
also last part of your question didn’t quite understood it but if you are asking how much HP I have with my current gears I have 67,800. Will try to get my perfect pots latter on for now just working on getting all level 40 FD plates i need

Really like your mercenary build, can you please tell me what plates you have, I cant tell by looking at the picture,sorry,(newb to this game). I want to achieve a high critical rate(8.5k and higher) and also have high FD( 600 and higher) and high P.atk( 3k and higher). I am currently equipped with full apocalypse set which is plussed to 6 D: with no pots and the rest of my set is random items I picked up from dungeons. can you please tell me roughly how to achieve my goals and how to go about on achieving them( i watched your gold making guide)- one question what gears should a twink have and what should they be enhanced to and what pots and what weapons and rings and heraldries.

Hi Recklion & Kazu, I am an axe merc with 4k phy attack and 4.5k crit(with full manti set),So obviously my fd is 294.
I have got almost the same heraldries as u ( with no crit pot like u >.<) ,but i have seen here that u have dropped out the blessed plate(wch i am using currently) and is replaced with the Ultimate plate.
My question is that whether i should do it too and is it worth to do it so?& im scared if my crit resist drops will it affect me when im doing the nests & pvp etc(i do both pvp and pve).
Well 294 FD = 12.1% more damage to level 40 monsters while 413 FD would be an equivalent of 20.5% more damage, so to answer your question… putting on the FD plate would lower your critical resist while it will increase your damage output by 8.4% more. In my experience i have never used any defense oriented heraldry and hasn’t stop me =D if you think is worth it go for it. As for the critical resist in PvP if you play in compensation on you shouldn’t worry too much, now if you play a lot in compensation off then think about it a little.

I like to concentrate more on pve dps…so i think i would try experimenting with the Ulti plate and see if it makes any difference.. and What do u think on my critical? Is 4.5k ok? Any tips to get more crit without sacrificing phy attack rather than 17% crit on rings wch is super costly >.<..
Btw i use Battle howl skill ring so my battle howl is level 2 wch lasts 30 s and the cd is 40s, so its like 10s cd and more crit+damage..as ur post says im going for the perma battle howl+super armor effect when 50 too..( already got the battle howl plate) but still using dps plates atm though
Well for more critical i would suggest the 17% critical pots but like you said super costly but to raise it without it i would advice crafting armor into wind and buying heraldries with 3rd stat critical, also AGI cash items might help. I would also advice to make a monetary goal daily. For example I set myself up to save up each day at least 300 golds. If you play every day you will get a total of 2,100 gold every week, that is 8,400 gold a month and there you have your first kick ass ring =D! just be patient and persistent and remember to ALWAYS have fun in the game =D that’s the whole point of playing isn’t it?

wow ur build is so cool …sir Recklion my frend Merc has 5K+ Attack Power but i think he only has 7K Crit is dat gud also or he shud balance it?…my merc has only 2.7K Attack Power and 3K+ crit lot of work to do haha…im using +6 Apoc Set with almost all the same prefix as ur except the armor which i made HP armor ad the rest is the same..what can i do to make my stats higher…thx more power to you guys…im ur fan also thanks to Sir Kazu his the one that influenced me to make my SM good 9.7 crit / 2.9K Attack Power / 2.4 Magic Power im using +7 Apoc Set in my SM.. more power guys cheers.. (^_^)
Well if your friend has 5k+ damage i believe he should dedicate himself to making a pure FD build, that will serve him better. However if he finds a way for raising his critical rate to cap ( currently 10k ) without lowering his current attack power i believe he should go for it
! as for your character to make stats higher try focusing on getting those pesky perfect pots on every armor piece and upgrading your gears to higher level, also might help to get as much strength as possible from cash items such as mysterious cat eye rings with str stats.

Rest assure it is applicable since the order of up-dates we will receive are as follow:
Academic – SDN – level 50 cap so yeah we really do need a good level 40 set to try and do SDN

Can I achieve 10k crit and 500FD even I use manti set im using SM not Merce.
Definitely you can do it we have a guild member with 10k critical and 889 FD not to mention above average Attack power and Magic Attack power. =D

and btw, i wanna ask how to increase my crit to 7k!
my crit is very low.. (4k+)
and my pAtk is 3.1k
full apoc armor +6 only
weapon> apoc axe +9 (wind)
sec weapon> apoc gaunt +8 (des)
assesories> bear sylvie neck and earrings (2 stat only> agi,str) rings are > destruc ring(pot> [pAtk/agi/str]) and skill ring [Battle howl] pAtk 98/mAtk 58/ VIT( no pot)
and no 3rd stat plate..
Try changing the destruction ring to a fatal sylvie and try getting the Battle howl ring with the good stats from the creation is hard but it will defenatly pay off for your critical. As for 7k critical being enough i personally believe in having battle howl always present BUT i still prefer to hit critical cap in case i get carried away in a fight and i forget to use battle howl xD

I’m a merc with only 3k max damage more or less. Have a full manti set – armors are 4 bear and 1 hp – but weapons are only +8. I already have a 10k crit but I’m hoping to increase my damage more. Most of my plates are still lvl 24 with 3rd stat crit. Have one ring with a crit potential. My axe still has no suffix and I’m confused with what to craft it. Hoping for your advice
The common item production for main weapons for mercenaries are Harsh(Like Bear), Bear(For damage output), and Wind(For more Crit). As you stated, you already have 10k crit, so Crafting it to Bear would be your best bet since you already reached the crit cap.
And keep in mind that Harsh is usually only for PVP(Ladder) purposes, If you don’t PVP, Bear is really the way to go.
